Enhancing the Creative Process Through Understanding Work Styles

A key aspect of living, working and creating with others is identifying the most effective way to connect and communicate. Leaders are often presented with different styles of working and communicating. Accurately assessing and responding to verbal and non-verbal cues can result in better collaboration and more creative outcomes.

Do you know your work style? Can you identify the styles of others? How would knowing colleagues’ work styles help you better utilize each individual’s strengths as well as your own?

This interactive session integrates the foundations of the DISC assessment, presented in a fun and memorable way, with the stages and roles in the Creative Problem Solving process. The information prepares attendees to be more effective leaders and team members. The workshop is designed for people who have previously done a personal DISC assessment, as well as those who have not.

In this Coffee Break you will:
  • Gain insights into the DISC assessment system and the implications for work and communication styles.
  • Learn easy-to-understand ways to assess the style of others, and how this can be integrated into the CPS process.
  • Explore strategies to optimize collaboration with all styles, and how to address possible style conflicts.
